In March Chester Williams went on suspension raising a ruckus, but he’s
slipped back into regular duty as imperceptibly as a slide in a slide projector.
For the past two weeks, Superintendent Williams has been back at headquarters
at a desk job where he’s the Director of Training. It’s an unremarkable
post, offering none of the operational flourishes Williams had become known
for.
And while he’s back, doesn’t mean he’s satisfied. The former
Senior Superintendent still has a constitutional case pending against the Department
for taking wrongful disciplinary measures and he is also challenging his demotion
at the Belize Advisory Council.
