A Belize City man says that an off-duty BDF solider was one of three men who
attacked and beat him with a pistol last night. At 9:30, 26 year old Shaun Bennett
was riding a bicycle on Mahogany Street when three men came up from behind.
He knew only one of them as Jason Grey, a BDF soldier. Regardless he claims
all three of them put a beating on him, and one of them struck him to the face
with a 9 handgun. They rode off while onlookers took Bennett to the hospital.
Police are looking for the men, but haven’t found them yet.
