This week, Democratic Vice-Presidential Candidate Joe Biden will take centre
stage as he debates his Republican opponent Sarah Palin. The event is set for
Thursday at Washington University in St. Louis but one person who won’t
be there to cheer is Joe Biden’s brother, Frank. And that’s because
Frank is in Belize.
That’s right, 7NEWS has confirmed that Frank
Biden, the younger brother of Joe Biden is doing charity work in Belize. He
is what’s called the ‘Major Gifts Officers’ at Hands in Hands
Ministry’s head office in Louisville Kentucky. In a nutshell he raises
funds for the charity and is on a familiarization tour of Belize. He has been
here for several weeks and should leave just before the election which is set
for Tuesday November 4th.
He has been working primarily in the Belize District where he is seeing first
hand the work of Hands in Hands in Belize. The trip was planned before his brother
was nominated for Vice President. This is his second trip to Belize. The first
was in February when he spent 5 days helping to build a house.
