One of his younger brothers, Patrick Faber, is the Minister of Education Patrick
Faber and the other, Andrew Faber, just got elected as a councillor candidate
on the UDP’s City Council ticket. And that’s probably why Paul Faber
was celebrating on Monday when he got busted with marijuana.
Police busted Paul Faber with the weed at his home on Maylflower Street on
Monday. Police had responded to complaints about loud music and when they knocked
on Paul Faber’s door the officers picked up the aroma of marijuana. Faber
consented to a search and the search led officers to an ashtray where they found
an unremarkable 5.9 grams of marijuana in a plastic bag. Still, Faber was charged
with drug possession and he pled guilty. He was fined $500 which he has to pay
along with a $5 cost of court by November 10th.
