And while it will be a first for Maxi Priest, it will be Beenie Man’s fourth trip. He performs tomorrow night at the City Center. He will arrive tomorrow morning but Anthony Cruz and “The Angel” are in Belize tonight. It is Cruz’s second visit and The Angel’s first. We spoke to them this evening at the Renaissance.

Anthony Cruz, Performing Tomorrow
“Well basically if the fans are into Anthony Cruz, they already know my songs. For the ladies I got lover’s rock, roots rock, reality music, and just one drop will be a fire and energy.”

Why should people come out to see you?

Anthony Cruz,
“Well one they’ve never seen me perform and if they watch the DVD they will know what we do when it comes to a stage show. So basically just come out and we want to meet and greet the people because I’ve been here before and the people here are very warm and loving and nice and I want to big up all the ladies from Belize and the men can come out because you done I can’t leave out the man them.”

And can you confirm if Beenie Man will be coming?

Anthony Cruz,
“Yes Beenie Man is my friend and he is in New York and he is definitely coming tomorrow so you done know what he will do already; crazy crazy show. Everybody is talking about it so make sure you are there tomorrow.”

The Angel,
“I am here to do Belize’s reggae fest. It is going to be crazy, it is going to be mad so all my fans just come out who have never seen the Angel before, if you heard Angel’s music and you’ve never seen her before, you can come out and catch me live at the City Center. Mad mad thing so you just come out tomorrow. I am going to be blazing.”

Beenie Man arrives tomorrow morning and he will be signing autographs at the San Cas Plaza from midday to four pm.
