Belize’s buffest and fittest bodies will compete at the Bliss
Center next month in the Muscle Mania 2009. The competition isn’t until
June 28th but the bodybuilders are already preparing. And no one is training
harder than 20 year old Dean Ortiz. He is the reigning champ and with 195 pounds
of pure muscle- the six foot Ortiz expects a repeat victory.

“I would like to support everybody to go and see me how I perform
at the Bliss. I hope I win again like last year August. I will try and do my
best to come in first or second place so that I win a trophy and a little bit
of money.”

How hard have you been preparing for the show?
Dean Ortiz,
“Well I’ve been in the gym training for three hours and then
work out my biceps and go home after that. After that I will prepare for the
show and at my home I do push ups, sit ups.”

How bad do you want to build this competition?
Dean Ortiz,
“Well I come in the gym everyday so I want to win first place like
last year again. So I will try my best to come in first place.”

“It is a good sport for me. I enjoy doing it.”
