On Monday San Pedro Police arrested and charged Enrique Pena better known as
Ricky and charged him with manslaughter in connection with the death of twenty
eight year old Alejandro Uck. Today, however we understand that the Director
of Public Prosecution has instructed the police to withdraw the charge of manslaughter.
The decision was handed down following a post mortem.
According to Chief Pathologist Dr. Mario Estradabran, the injuries that were
sustained to the shoulder were minor and in no way could have contributed or
caused the death of Alejandro Uck. So what caused the death? Well it appears
as if Alejandro Uck had literally drunk himself to death. The examination revealed
he had too much alcohol content in the body that caused an acute pulmonary edema.
In fact the post mortem reveals that all of Alejandro Uck’s organs were
congested. So today the charge of manslaughter was withdrawn against Enrique
Pena better known as Ricky and he is a free man.
On Monday, Roland Uck told 7News in an interview that his brother spoke with
him before he died. Alejanro Uck told his sibling how it was Enrique Pena who
beat him and pushed him down a flight of stairs after he went to Pena’s
residence to ask him for money he had loaned to him. However police investigations
based on an eyewitness account indicate that it was Alejandro Uck who started
to beat on Enrique Pena.
Reports are that the eyewitness who was along with Alejandro Uck told authorities
that they went to see Enrique Pena about a chip for a camera but after Pena
told them that there was a blackout, it was late and he was with his wife, that
is when Uck barged into the home and started to beat Pena. A struggle ensued
and that is when Alejandro Uck tumbled down from the two storey residence.
