A Police officer shot Attorney Dickie Bradley’s 30 year old son, Adrian this weekend; the police say he was armed and out of control, the younger Bradley says the police were trigger happy.

It happened near Bradley’s home in Buttonwood Bay at 9:45 on Saturday morning when a police patrol conducted a search on Adrian Bradley. They said he threw a small object on the roadside and then resisted the search. Police say he went so far as to pull a butcher knife on the officers. When he pulled the knife he also cut himself on the forearm, they report. Police say they told him to relax, but they say he continued to act up and that’s when one of the officers took out his 9 millimeter pistol and shot him in the calf.

Bradley is in the hospital recovering and has told the media that all he threw on the road-side was a weed roach and that he did not aggress the officers and that he did not have a knife. He also has no cut on his hand. Still he is in the hospital with a broken foot and it is expected he will be charged with aggravated assault when he is released. Police did not recover any weed roach.
