It is not quite the birthday gift 23 year old Randy Green expected but instead
of celebrating on Tuesday August twenty fifth Belize City Police say Randy Green
and 29 year old Chadwick Tingling committed an armed holdup and robbery at Belize
Global Consulting Services located at the corner of New Road and Hyde’s
Lane.
Today Green and Tingling appeared before Magistrate Sharon Fraser who explained
to them that she could not offer them bail because it was a firearm offence.
When Green and Tingling were arraigned in Magistrate’s Court they pleaded
not guilty to their four charges of robbery. Both were remanded to the Belize
Central Prison until October ninth.
Police investigation reveals that around eleven twenty on Tuesday morning Green
and Tingling entered the office armed with a pistol and held up four employees
and robbed them of jewellery, cash and cell phones. But while the accused have
been arrested, charged and remanded, the police have yet to recover any of the
stolen items.
