And while the Central Americans and Mexicans will have their fair on
Saturday, the Belize City Council is doings its one tomorrow. It’s the
multicultural fair scheduled for Thursday from eleven in the morning until eleven
in the night. As explained by Belize City Deputy Mayor Dion Leslie and the councillor
in charge of public relations and special events the activities they have planned
at the MCC Grounds will be for the entire family and there is no need to be
concerned about security.

“Tomorrow Belizeans should look forward to a filled day of wholesome
family entertainment right here at the MCC Grounds. It is going to be the fourth
annual Belize City Multicultural Fair and it is going to be running from 11
am in the morning to 11 pm at night.
The highlight of the entire fair will be the battle of the bands which
is being sponsored by Belikin and we will have nine bands, local Belize bands,
going head to head against each other where the winner will get, the first prize
is $5000 plus a trophy and a contract to play in the 21st parade. Second prize
is $3,000 a trophy and contract to play at the 21st bram which will be held
this year at the Memorial Park. Third prize will be $2,000 and a trophy.”
Again the Belize City Council Multicultural Fair gets underway from
eleven on Thursday morning.
