Albert "Cracker" Middleton Charged for Robbery
posted (September 11, 2009)

Another business that’s been robbed multiple times – with the crime caught on camera is Miami Store on Euphrates Avenue. But the news usually is that no one was arrested. Tonight, though, it’s different. Today thirty one year old Albert Middleton aka Cracker was arraigned on two counts of armed robbery in Magistrate’s Court.

It was one of those broad daylight hold-ups; the crime unfolded around twelve forty on Wednesday, September ninth inside Miami Grocery at forty eight Euphrates Avenue. According to the store’s cashier Evy Espejo a dark skinned man entered the establishment and pointed a gun at him. Espejo said that the man stole his gold and diamond ring valued at five hundred dollars, a cell phone and four hundred dollars from the cash register.

Middleton pleaded not guilty but Senior Magistrate Dorothy Flowers explained to him that the court cannot offer him bail because the offences were committed with a firearm. The accused was then remanded to the Belize Central Prison until October fourteenth.
