Police didn’t report it but there was a home invasion early this morning
in Belize City.
Information to 7News is that 23 year old Sandra Thompson was at her home on
Kelly Street which is behind to Freetown Road around one a.m. when 4 men in
dark clothes stormed in.
She dashed into the bathroom to lock herself up for safety but not before one
of the men lunged at her midsection with a knife. She lowered her hand to protect
herself and got a cut on her elbow. She still did manage to lock herself up
while the invaders contented themselves by stealing her jewellery valued at
two thousand dollars. They drove off and Thompson received treatment for a minor
injury. Police have not made an arrest.
