Police Lay Charges in Court for Mayor Zenaida Moya

Tomorrow morning at 9:30 am – Mayor Zenaida Moya will present herself at the Queen’s Street Police Station along with her attorney Michael Peyrefitte to answer to a single charge each of failure to comply with City Council regulations and uttering upon a false document.

The story is huge and we’ll let you hear all sides of it tonight, but first the operational side. Commissioner Crispin Jeffries today told the press that the charges have already been taken to court.

“The DPP has given her directive and that is to go ahead and make an arrest of four persons. Mr. Segura, the officer in charge of Crimes Investigation is the lead investigator. As he speak he should be preparing to lay the charges at the Magistrate’s Court and we may see an execution of an arrest of one or more persons tomorrow.”
