There was an accident this afternoon in Belmopan. It occurred at the
junction of where the Hummingbird Highway meets the Western Highway at the entrance
to Belmopan. It is at that intersection that shortly after mid-day a Honda Accord
crashed into a Kia Sportage. The Kia Sportage was heading to Belize while the
Honda Accord was driving in the opposite direction. Tamara Grant was in the
Kia Sportage with her mother. She told us what happened.

“This girl just came to drive into me just now when I was coming on
the way so and made us turnover and she says she wasn’t in.”

“Me, my mom, my sister, and my niece.”
