Four days after twenty seven year old Eddie “Mac” Neal was shot
to death, today his accused killer twenty one year old Michael Forman was taken
over to Belize City Magistrate’s Court and arraigned on the charge of
murder. Michael Forman appeared before Chief Magistrate Margaret McKenzie. Because
the offence is indictable, no plea was taken and he was remanded. His next court
date has been set for December sixteenth.
The victim, Eric Neal was gunned down around nine thirty on Monday night at
the corner of Central American Boulevard and North Creek Road. The report is
that Eric Neal was on his way home when he was approached by two men who fired
a number of shots at him. Eric Neal was struck five times in the head.
