If you have even been to Belize Medical Associates you may know her
as Nurse Myvette, regarded as one of the most friendly faces and helpful employees
at the private clinic. Now, we aren’t sure if her kind personality and
willingness to assist those in need brought her some very much needed good luck,
but on Saturday night she calmly watched as her five numbers were drawn in the
fifty two thousand five hundred dollar Lotto jackpot. Today we caught up with
Nurse Myvette who was the sole winner – very different from the last time
we went to the office and found twenty winners sharing a fifty thousand dollar
jackpot. Today Nurse Myvette got the whole jackpot for herself.

“Well I was listening to the Lotto the same time and as the numbers
were playing, I remembered that was my number.”
Jacqueline Godwin,
“Your pressure didn’t start going up?”
Nurse Myvette,
“No, no. I was calm and relaxed until when it was complete and then
I said that’s my numbers.”
Jacqueline Godwin,
“How long you’ve been playing these numbers?”
Nurse Myvette,
“From the beginning when the Lotto started but with that special number
it is like four years aback.”
Jacqueline Godwin,
“And you must be doubly happy today because you’re the only winner.”
Nurse Myvette,
“Yes and I win three numbers and I won a free ticket. Sometimes I
buy one ticket, sometimes I buy three tickets, and sometimes I just buy a quick
pick and call it that.”
Jacqueline Godwin,
“And you’ll continue playing Lotto?”
Nurse Myvette,
“Yes I will. I won’t stop.”
Following the standard fifteen percent tax deduction Nurse Albertine
Louise Myvett takes home forty four thousand, six hundred dollars. She won the
jackpot by picking the numbers 5, 9, 12, 19 and 28. The past three Lotto winnings
have been numbers picked by players.
