A vessel reportedly ran aground on Hunting Caye in the Sapodilla Caye Range
– which is a marine reserve - in southern Belize earlier this week. The
extent of the damages is not known but reports are that a team went to the caye
to check it out. It was reportedly a sizeable yacht and the captain may have
been experiencing medical difficulty. We hope to have confirmation on Monday.
