In October forty two year old US national John Gibson was fined one thousand
five hundred dollars after he was charged with drug trafficking. At that time,
John Gibson an aviation maintenance technician from Arkansas was a guest at
the Gulf Hotel and that’s where he was busted with a crack cocaine. He
pleaded guilty to the charge.
Today John Gibson was back in court this time charged for the common assault
on fifty four year old Chinese businesswoman Cheng Hsui Chu, the owner of Gulf
Hotel. Court reports are that today John Gibson returned to Gulf Hotel to see
someone because according to him, they had filmed he and his girlfriend while
they were having sex.
The information is that when Gibson reached the hotel, Chu refused to hear
what he had to say and Gibson started to make a lot of noise. Chu began to walk
away and that is when she claims Gibson pushed her from behind that caused her
to fall to the floor. Again John Gibson pleaded guilty, only this time he would
not walking out of the courtroom a free man.
The report is that Magistrate Sharon Frazer offered him bail in the amount
of two hundred and fifty dollars and ordered that it be paid forthwith. Well
guess what, John Gibson could not meet his bail and so for the next two months
he will be a guest at the Belize Central Prison.
