Forty six year old Floyd Budd is unemployed and homeless but that is something
he will not have to worry about for the next six years. That is because he was
sentenced to serve the time behind bars in the Belize Central Prison after he
pleaded guilty to burglary. Floyd Budd had broken into Valu-Med Pharmacy around
five on Tuesday morning.
Court reports are that police acting on information they receive arrived at
the establishment situated on Princess Margaret Drive. When the cops entered
the pharmacy they found Floyd Budd hiding in the building with bags of candy
in his hand. The pharmacy owner identified the seventy dollars worth of items
as her property.
Police investigation revealed that the accused gained entry into Valu-Med Pharmacy
by breaking the lock on the front door.
