Plans for the Help Haiti Benefit Concert and telethon is coming together
at this hour....the roster of performing artists is impressive as countless
artists are coming forward to volunteer for the worthy cause. It’s a long
list and it’s growing daily. One of those artists is the always hype Berne
Velasquez and he made an appeal today.
Berne, Performing
“It is the biggest tragedy ever in Haiti. We need to really represent
to the fullest. So if you are not an artist then I know you could enjoy the
good music and at the same time be helping and it will be something that will
be dearly appreciated. You’ve seen the news. You’ve seen what is
happening I Haiti and now we got to go out there and represent for our brothers
and sisters. I am depending on you Belize.
There is no cost for this event. Whatever you pledge at the door, whatever
you want to donate, that is what it is all about. Don’t disappoint me
Belize. I will be there. I will be right there and give you one of the best
shows because I could never perform for nobody more than my brothers are suffering
right now in Haiti. I’ll see you at the Bliss this Saturday evening.”
And remember the Help Haiti Concert and telethon is set for Saturday
night at the bliss center – it will be live on KREM Radio and TV and Channel
