Kendra Madrill Pleads Guilty to Abusing 11 Year Old Cousin
posted (February 1, 2010)

Twenty year old Kendra Madrill was today arraigned in Belize City Magistrate’s Court, charged for the beating of her eleven year old cousin. Court reports are that Kendra Madrill pleaded guilty to the charge after the prosecution closed its case during trial.

Magistrate Sharon Frazer could have given the accused six months behind bars at Belize Central Prison instead she gave Kendra Madrill a suspended sentence. That means she was allowed to go home but only on certain conditions. For one year Kendra Madrill must stay out of trouble so she cannot allow herself to get arrested and charged for any other offence.

Court reports are that on May twelfth, 2009 the cousin, an eleven year old boy was left in the care of Kendra Madrill. The young boy went to school that day but reports are that during one of his classes while the students were taking a test the eleven year old boy started to shout out all the answers. The primary school student was kept at school after classes as punishment.

Court reports are that when the boy returned home Kendra Madrill beat him with a belt until it burst and when it did Kendra Madrill punched her little cousin several times. The eleven year old received bruises all over his body and both his eyes were swollen. Kendra Madrill was initially charged with dangerous harm but that was later reduced to harm.
