Biltmore Employees Charged for Murder of Nigerian Security Guard
posted (February 19, 2010)

Three men were today charged for Monday morning’s savage slaying of Nigerian security guard Kaluru Olungududu at the Biltmore Plaza Hotel and the surprising news tonight is that two of the accused are employees at the hotel. They are 25 year old Jamal Jackson – a steward at the hotel – and 19 year old Daniel Myvette – a security guard employed at the hotel. They were charged jointly along with a third suspect, 21 year old Kareem Stevens. Kaluru Olungududu was stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife early on Monday morning inside the security booth. Nothing was stolen and today Lead Investigator Inspector Sinquest Martinez commented on the arrests.

Insp. Sinquest Martinez, Lead Investigator
“We have three persons who we have arrested and they are in front of the court at this time.”

Keith Swift,
“Do you know the motive?”

Insp. Sinquest Martinez,
“I want to go in-depth because the investigation still continues and we are working along with the DPP’s office. Three persons have been charged for the murder of the Nigerian and one person has been charged for the murder of Peter Myvette and they are in the court right now.”

Keith Swift,
“How confident are you that you have enough evidence to convict these three persons?”

Insp. Sinquest Martinez,
“We have substantial evidence and that is the reason why we consult with the DPP and then press charges.”

No plea was taken and they were all remanded to prison until March 19th.
