A bus ran over a woman’s arm last night. At around 10:15 – 28 year
old Kendise Garnett was waiting for a bus at the junction of the Northern Highway
and the junction of the Lord’s Bank Road. She attempted to stop the bus
but the driver indicated to her that he wasn’t going back to Belize City.
The driver however claims that Garnett continued running beside the bus. During
this she fell and the bus ran over her arm. She received lacerations to her
left arm and forehead and was admitted at the KHMH in a stable condition. Police
are investigating.
