Yesterday we told you about the four men police caught fleeing from an armed
robbery in Los Lagos. All of them are Belize City residents and they went to
court today. 21-year-old Channing Garoy, his brother, 27-year-old Reginald Garoy,
26-year-old Kareem Williams and 30-year-old Ronald Cox. They were charged with
one count of robbery for and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. They
were denied bail because it was an armed hold-up and were remanded into police
custody until April.
When police intercepted the car, they found all the cash, phone cards and
liquor that had been stolen from Holiday Store as well as black stocking and
a 38 revolver with 6 live rounds. hanning Garoy was charged for possession of
the gun.
