Well-known Belize City resident Elvis “Hooligan” Bevans was shot
last night. It happened around 7:30 when Bevans was on Neal’s Pen Road.
Investigators have determined that Bevans was riding in the direction of Kraal
Road when another man rode up beside him and opened fire. He was shot twice
on his leg and was treated and released. He is at home recovering and police
say they have not established a motive.
