Well, the standard 6 students aren’t in classroom with asbestos roofing,
but the standard one and standard four students are as seen in this picture.
After a few days of back and forth, that’s the final and accepted position
of all parties. But thanks in no small part to people pressure coming from the
Punta Gorda Community, it’s going to be remedied – as soon as next
weekend, April 24th.
The Ministry of Education’s Arlette Gomez today told us that final arrangements
have been made between St. Peter Claver and Holy Ghost school in Dangriga to
acquire, transport and assemble two school buildings from the Dangriga School
to the PG school. We’ll keep following the case.
