Escaped prisoner Edger Roberts has been recaptured – and it looks like the Independence village resident was heading home. Dangriga police caught him yesterday evening around the Southern 6-mile junction. When he is returned to the prison, he will be charged for escape to add to his standing convictions for Escape, Assaulting a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Aggravated Assault.

Still on the run are 35 year old Dennis Quilter, and 22 year old Jose Melgar, who may be in the Cayo District. Anyone seeing these men can call the Belize Central Prison at 225‐6229 or 225‐6191.
