Twenty year old Clarence Hemmans, Jr. who was found guilty of the murder of 26 year old Kevin Arnold two weeks ago, was sentenced to life imprisonment today by Justice Troadio Gonzalez.
The prosecution represented by Crown Counsel Yohhanseh Cave, did not ask for the death penalty. Arnold who was shot ten times around 7:30 on Mary 27, 2007 near Los Cocos Bar on Armadillo Street. Hemmans was convicted mainly on the evidence of Arnold's girlfriend Shana White, who testified that she saw him shoot Arnold. Hemmans was seventeen at the time of the murder. He was represented by Attorney, Phillip Palacio.
