The situation at City Hall seems to be shaky tonight after 3 senior managers at the City Council have suddenly resigned. They are the City Administrator, Dr. Kiran Vanjani, the Director of Finance Zane Castillo and the Traffic Manager Kevon Jenkins. First off, the Administrator and the Director of Finance are the most senior management posts beneath the mayor so their departure is hugely significant. Second, Traffic Manager Kevon Jenkins is calling it quits after 14 years with the council. But while the resignations are virtually simultaneous, and they are in some sense related, it does not appear to be coordinated.
Still, add the names of these departed to the senior managers that have left since 2006 and it forms a quite staggering account of managerial discontent. They are Dale Trujeque, Sharole Saldivar, Kenny Morgan, Englebert Perrerra, Robert Allen, Harry Smith, Christine Perriot, and a few others we've surely missed.
