Gonzalez Gets Bail: Drugs Were Bogus
posted (June 15, 2010)
It made major headlines when Alwin Gonzalez was busted by Police on May 22nd with heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis plus possession of a three dozen live rounds of nine millimeter ammunition. He was later charged for trafficking 2.4 kilos of cocaine which were found at his wife's house on K street. But tonight it turns out that the heroin and the cocaine were fake! At yesterday's court hearing Gonzalez's attorney Dickie Bradley made the court aware that he had obtained copies of the drug test results of which Gonzalez was charged and those tests came back negative.

Regardless, the multiple counts of drug offences levied by the police still stand. Gonzalez was then offered bail of twenty thousand dollars plus one surety of the same amount. He is to surrender all travel documents and is to report to Court once every Friday. Alwyn Gonzales has indicated that he will be suing the Police Department.

The incident occurred on Saturday May 22 when Gonzalez and Tifarra Bradley were busted by police at a home on Guadalupe Street in the Kings Park area. They were found with (35) 9mm live rounds, 359 grams cannabis, 6.1 grams heroine, 27.4 grams crack cocaine, (1) metal pipe used for smoking drugs and $10,500.00 BZ in cash. Tifarra Bradley was offered Supreme Court bail on May 26th - 4 days after the bust. A few days before that, the 2.4 kilos of alleged cocaine were found at his wife's house on K street....
