The man known as hype - Alfrain Supal is also having an event this weekend. It happens on Sunday at the Princess but hype says it is not just another dance. It is called Teen Hype and it will bring together high schoolers from all over the country in a DJ competition - but there's also a redeeming academic value. He told us more:

"It's a DJ competition, a healthy DJ competition and the winner will receive a laptop, $500 and a scholarship and some other miscellaneous prizes. As well the student who comes to the event with their report card with the highest average, the highest grades will receive $200 towards their tuition. Of course after the competition is finish then the kids could dance to soca, dancehall, hip hop and punta. So it is their party too, but we also have the competition so it's a edutainment kind of event."
