Last week Thursday, we reported on 70 year old Roland Flath who has been charged with indecent assault. Last Tuesday, police conducted a search at Flaths home in Copper Bank village where they discovered a number of pornographic materials on DVD's, a laptop and desktop computer and a camera. The Pornographic material included a Belizean minor. As a result Flath was taken into police custody and was charged with one count of indecent assault.
Well that wasn't the end of this case. Acting upon information received, Police spoke with a 14 year old student who stated that in 2007 at the age of 10 years old she went to the Flath's residence where he invited her inside and showed her a book of nude pictures and asked her if she wanted to do what she saw.
She told police she said no. Flath then allegedly disrobed her and gave her 20 dollars. The minor told police she visited Flath more than 30 times during the past five years.
During these visits he sexually abused her. Roland Flath has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and is remanded into custody until Thursday of this week.
