He was charged for murder, but tonight Twenty one year old Carl Dalton Reneau is a free man. Reneau had been charged with the murder of 32 year old Brian "Benji" Williams in March of 2009. He was freed of the charge today in court because the case file was not available to the prosecution.
The murder occurred on March 9th, 2009, when Williams was shot and killed while painting a house. The assailant reportedly told a 4 year old boy, who was also in the yard, to go inside the house because he had come to kill Williams. He was shot about 8 times from a close range.
