Twenty two year old shopkeeper Zhen Wen Feng, who allegedly touched a 17 year old female customer inappropriately, was charged with aggravated assault in court today.
Feng pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was offered bail of $2,000 and his case was adjourned until August 16th.
The incident is alleged to have occurred on Saturday July 3rd. The girl reported to police that she was buying at the store, located at 64 Cemetery Road, when Feng pushed his hand through the bars and touched her. He was detained the following day and charged.
