Ladyville Cops Make Major Bust

There was a robbery on Friday evening at about 3:15 - at Mile 19 Supermarket in Sandhill.

Store owner Guanghan Lou and his son were inside their store when 4 men entered - one armed with a handgun - and held them up. The one with the gun hit Lou in his head and proceeded to rob them of over 6 thousand dollars in cash, a number of phone cards, 2 cell phones, a gold chain and a 9mm hand gun with 7 live rounds. The robbers then left the scene.

With quick response from the Ladyville police station, the four culprits were tracked down behind the Sand Hill gas station- where most of the stolen items were recovered except for the gold chain.

Police also recovered the firearm that was used to commit the crime. The four were detained by police and was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and keeping of a firearm without a license.
