Still No Capital Charge For Laverne “Antichrist” Longsworth
posted (August 26, 2010)
32 year old David White was allegedly doused with kerosene and set on fire by his common law -wife Lavern "Antichrist" Longsworth on July 15th. After spending three weeks in the hospital fighting for his life, he succumbed to his injuries on August second. Since then Longsworth has appeared on the news several times pleading that her actions were in self defence. But for the White family that is just not enough to bring their loved one back.

Today Longsworth appeared for an adjournment today on the charge of attempted murder, which she was charged for when he was first injured.

That outraged the mother of David White who told 7 News she wants the woman who caused the death of her son to be charged with murder and put behind bars - where she belongs.

Yvonne Thompson, Mother of Deceased
"When we went to court we expect that they were going to charge for murder, but we thought they would have upgraded the charge to murder, but when we got there it was supposed to be in #2 court and they say that the magistrate is out today, so they send them to #6 court and from we heard that I know it's going to be adjourned. So they adjourned it until the 18th of October."

"You think you are not getting justice for the death of your son?"

Yvonne Thompson, Mother of Deceased
"I think I am not and I don't know why because if it was somebody else they would have hold them automatically when that person and charge them for murder. I am telling she hasn't asked for forgiveness yet and I don't think they were going through nothing to that extent that she should have done my son that. Because my son was the only one that love her, he even go against me for her; when we would say anything about her; he would say, 'Well mommy that's my woman,' and so I don't believe her when she talks about abuse. I don't believe her because she said that she was abused for 9 years, the most of those 9 years my son was in and out of prison. I don't know what kind of abuse she is talking about. I think she belongs behind bars because if it was my son he would have been behind bars. They would have picked him up from the first day and beat him up properly and throw him back there. But she is affiliated with the magistrate because she cleans for them and do errand for them so I guess that's probably why I am not getting justice."

The DPP says the case file has just been sent to her. She will be reviewing it this evening. Longsworth's case was adjourned until the eighteenth of October.
