Helen Yue Murder Conspiracy Comes Together

The major crimes unit of the CIB office in Belize City has scored a major investigative coup with a weapons bust which has led to the unraveling of the Helen Yue murder conspiracy. The story started on Tuesday morning at 4:00 am in Cotton tree village where police surrounded a home with four suspects inside. That was the residence of 36 year old of Wilwort Anderson.

That provided the break in the case, when Police saw a black plastic bag being thrown through one of the windows. Inside the bag they recovered a 9mm Sig Sauer pistol - which was identified as the one stolen during a supermarket robbery on third August in the Caribbean shores area.

One thing led to another and based on evidence gathered at that scene, police returned to Belize City where they recovered the iPhone stolen in the robbery of Yue's store. They also recovered a SIM card that was stolen in that robbery.

So 23 years old Emmanuel Lemoth and 29 year old Elbert Miller have been charged for Helen Yue's murder. Miller and Lemoth were additionally charged with conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, grievous harm, use of deadly means of harm, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

The pair was also charged with handling stolen goods for the stolen Apple I-phone. And then 19 year old Carmen Jones and 36 year old Wilword Anderon, along with the pair were charged with handling stolen goods for the black 9mm pistol that was recovered at the Cotton tree home.

They were also charged for handling stolen goods for the SIM card. They remain in custody as other charges are pending and they also have to appear n Belmopan magistrate's court.
