And while Broaster was out there with us for most of the morning around noon , he zipped off on what seemed to be an emergency call. A short while later, word came back to us that he had roughed up a youth on a street in the complex area of Lake Indpendence .
When we got there we found that he had strung up a 19 year old - who he says he caught red handed burglarizing his brother's home.
And while that's the short version, the long version is that the teenager got his face scalded with boiling water. Broaster says it was an accident:...

"We were just around the Kraal Road area dealing with a bee problem when I got a call from my brother who is in Belmopan regarding a burglary at his residence so me and couple of my officers quickly came in this area and we arrested a young man who we found with a cell phone and a recorder that I gave my brother. When we came and check the house, the back door was broken into. We took him in the house and he try to ran, apparently my brother sister-in-law had a pot on the stove with some hot water, when I push him in he fell onto the stove and got burnt with the hot water and hit his head on the door. Currently we are taking him to the hospital."
They found a cell phone and a tape recorder form the home while other items that were burglarized are still outstanding. The 19 year old was arrested and is awaiting charges. Broaster says he believes the young man is linked to at least a dozen other robberies.
