Around 2:45- 20 year old Darwin Rocke along with his mother Myrna Ferguson and 2 other brothers were at their home on Aloe Vera Street when they were awakened by a loud banging on their door.

Rocke says he got out of bed and looked through a window to see what was going on. He saw a man banging on the back door.

When Rocke opened window, the man then pushed a sawed-off shot gun through one of the louvers and fired a shot. Rocke scrambled into one of the bedrooms to alert his mother and two more shots were fired.

Seconds after they heard someone kicking the door open.

Two men were standing on the street in front of the house. The man then shouted at Rocke's mother - that they are retaliating because of a threat that her son went to make at his house.
