Broad Daylight Shooting In City
posted (October 14, 2010)
Earlier on we told you about a shooting last night that left a city man in critical condition. This morning on the city's southside, shots rang out again, but fortunately no one was seriously hurt. Still, two men were injured.

It happened at the height of the morning rush on Faber's Road and Monica Bodden was there:….

Monica Bodden Reporting
"This was what it look like when we arrived on the shooting scene at about 11:30 this morning. CIB investigators were still processing the area. The shooting happened at about 10:30 corners Faber's Road and Central American Boulevard. It is still sketchy as to what went on but from what we understand 24 year old Keith Milton and Oscar Vidas were standing in front of this car when they were approached by 2 men who opened fire. Milton was hit in his right leg and Oscar Vidas to his left upper leg. According to neighbors the shooters were seen earlier scouting the area from behind this payphone and even though there is a police surveillance camera just across the street by the Muslim school, no use in getting your hopes up since we were told that the camera is not functioning."

Both Vidas and Middleton are listed in stable condition.
