Turning now to politics, 7news has confirmed that city councilor Roger Espejo intends to challenge incumbent Carlos Perdomo for his seat in Caribbean shores. It will happen at a divisional convention, and no date for that has been set.
But a convention is in the offing and the UDP is currently accepting nominations for that seat. Espejo has put his name in and - as we understand it - is gathering forces to challenge Perdomo.
Like all divisional battles, this one promises to be messy - and - according to our sources - the hostilities have already commenced. We hope to have interviews with the combatants later this week….
