The notorious Darren Banks - the last time we heard about him - he was in magistrate's court, telling the judge he saw snakes on the floor coming at him. The story was that he needed psychiatric care - but police say seem to think gotten over that and is back to his old gangster ways.
36 year old Desiree Banks and 32 year old Darren Banks appeared today in the number two Magistrate's court and pleaded not guilty to trafficking and keeping prohibited firearm and ammunition, after police conducted a search of their Mahogany street home.
The husband and wife were denied bail due to the nature of the offences.
Police raided the Bank's home yesterday and found a Colt AR 15 rifle - which is a military grade assault rifle, along with 42 rounds of ammunition, and 26 pounds of cannabis. The police report that they found the firearm and ammunition under the kitchen sink, whilst the cannabis was found on the roof of the house. The couple was remanded into custody until December 15th.
