posted (November 17, 2010)
And a pair of alleged accomplices of that same Wayne Rock was charged in court today.

Two brothers, twenty two year old Allan Phillips and twenty one year old Keilan Phillips, two of three men who the police believe were involved in a shooting incident, were each charged with two counts of aggravated assault, when they appeared yesterday in the number one Magistrate's court.

The men pleaded not guilty to the charges, but were denied bail due to the nature of the offences. The incident occurred around 5:20 P.M. on Tuesday, November 9th.

Twenty seven year old Austin Stevens, a supervisor for the Ministry of Works reported to the police that he and his brother, Jermaine Stevens, were riding their bicycles on Curl Thompson Street when three men ran out of a yard and began to follow them.

Stevens said one of the men had a firearm, while the other two had machetes. Stevens said the gunman fired four shots at him and his brother, but missed!

The third suspect, 24 year old Wayne Rock was charged last Thursday with the same offences.
