It's called the Queen of the Jewel Pageant - where 11 contestants with be vying for the title of Miss Belize 2010 - tomorrow night at the Bliss Center. With weeks of training, fashion shows and photo shoots - the ladies told 7news that they are more than prepared for tomorrow night. We caught up with them this morning on stage at their final rehearsal.

"It never cross my mind to join the pageant but then I heard about and all of my friends were like 'you should go up' and I thought about it and I didn't want at first but then I said let me just go for it, I mean it's a great experience and I will meet a lot of great people so I said well let me do it."

"I was recommended by a past queen of Stann Creek District to go up for the contest so I said i would join. "

"To be honest I have done pageant before but I wasn't looking for another one, this one just sort of knock on my door and well it's something that I love doing and so I said why not."

"So, so far how has the experience feel?"

"It has been wonderful I must say everyday is just a learning experience we learn from each other, we grow with each other and I think that's a really commendable thing."
