There was a shooting in Belize City last night - but no one was seriously hurt. Just after 7:00 pm, 21 year old Luis Figueroa was walking behind the Farmer's Market when he heard a loud blast and realized he had been shot to the shoulder.
He saw the gunman riding away on a bicycle. Figueroa was only grazed and released himself from the hospital. And while his injury is minor it is of note that Figueroa's address suggests to us that he is the relative of Francis Figueroa who was killed execution style on San Pedro two weeks ago.
