Trio of Teenagers In Stabbing Incident

Eighteen year old Denroy McFoy and two minors, their ages 17 and 15, who were allegedly involved in a stabbing incident, were charged with attempted murder when they appeared today in the #1 Magistrate's Court.

They were also charged with dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm. No bail was offered because of the nature of the offences.

She remanded McFoy into custody at the Belize Central Prison and the minors into custody at the Youth Hostel. They're to return to court on January 14, 2011.

The incident occurred around 8:40p.m on Wednesday, December 8.

Eighteen year old Daniel Pineda reported to the police that he was standing on Hunter's Lane with two friends when he was approached by three persons and one of them stabbed him several times under his arm pit. Pineda was admitted to ward at KHMH where his injury was classified as dangerous harm.
