Today Toys for Tots hosted one hundred and twenty primary school children at its annual Christmas party. The event, which started this afternoon on the grounds of the House of Culture, brought six and seven year olds from 19 primary schools across the city in a day filled with fun activities. Indira Samuels, Toys for Tots Committee Member told us more:

"What we are having here is the annual Toys for Tots Christmas party that the staff of Continental Airlines host every years for the most needy children from all the different primary schools or most of the different primary schools in Belize City."

"So what are some of the activities taking place?"

"Some of the activities taking place today is that we are playing games with them, we gave them a lunch, they will be getting a gift from Santa Claus. Every year it's so rewarding to come out and be with these kids and see some of the most loving smiles and get some of the most loving hugs from them and we like to give back so this is one way that we the staff of Continental Airlines give back to the children of Belize."
This is the eleventh year that the staff of Continental Airlines and the Toys for Tots Committee has hosted the children.
