Last night on this newscast you heard attorney for the National Transport Receiver Eamon Courtenay say that his client intends to pay the workers - as soon as it can get the bus company's records in order.
Well, it can't be too soon for the 275 workers - who have been out of a job and short of a paycheck for two weeks.
This afternoon, we again found them waiting at the labour office for some kind of breakthrough - and again, 5:00 pm cane and went and they did not get paid.
They are still holding unto hope that something will come through on Christmas Eve -former Operations Manager Phillip Jones says they will go and protest in front of the Belize Bank….
