Nigerian Taxi driver FRANCIS CHUKWU was found dead on Sunday morning on Pitta Street in the Colett Area just before 3:00 am.

Chukwu- left his Neal's Pen Road home at 11:00 on Christmas night to go and get some taxi jobs. He was found four hours later two blocks across on Pitta Street.

His car was found crashed into a fence and he was huddled over the steering wheel with a gunshot wound to the top of the head.

Indications are that he had not been robbed as his wallet was still in his pocket. Chukwu who had been in Belize for two years was well known in the area. He was also the single father of three, and his sons - the eldest only 9 years old - will now be sent back to Nigeria to live with family.
