There were reports this morning of a bus apparently being shot at while traveling to Belize City. It is said that a Guerra's Bus which was traveling from Benque to Belize City around 5:20 this morning was shot at somewhere around mile 30 on the Western highway. Today 7news spoke with the conductor of the bus.
Bus Conductor
"It happens about 20 minutes to 5 this morning on the first bus from Bengue. I pick up some people at Mahogany Heights and Democracia then when I get by the zoo to collect from passengers I heard something knock, I didn't see anything that happen. I don't know what happen if somebody shoots at the bus."
This evening Police Press Officer, Fitzroy Yearwood told us it was a false report and police have called off the investigation.
